This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing company that does a lot of good in the world. If you’re a detail-oriented big thinker who thrives in fast-paced, start-up environments, we’d love to hear from you.
* Full time
* Location: Remote / Availability during core hours: 8-4 PST

THE ROLE
As our Sales Director, you'll drive sales growth and work with a wide range of organizations who deliver grief, caregiver, and mental health support. You’ll sell to healthcare providers, employee assistance programs, hospices, tissue banks, funeral providers, charities, mental health providers, and more, combining technical expertise with a genuine passion for supporting people in the most tender times of their lives.
Responsibilities will include:
* Sell Help Texts directly to key market segments in the US, UK, and Canada. Customers include hospitals, hospices, funeral providers, tissue banks, charities and employers.
* Create and refine a scalable and repeatable go-to-market sales process.
* Build our sales capabilities by leveraging our CRM and creating playbooks, scripts, and repeatable processes we can use to reach exponentially more customers in 2025.
* Examine CRM and financial data to identify and prioritize sales channels and track deals through our sales process for reporting and learning.
* Identify any barriers that may be slowing sales and create ways for the team to respond to them.
* Price new and renewing deals for successful completion and customer adoption.
* Manage contractors who bring channel expertise and connections to the table.
* Build lasting relationships with customers and prospective customers.
* Create compelling ROI models showing financial, health and business benefits.
WHAT YOU BRING
You're equally comfortable discussing technical platform capabilities with prospective customers as you are talking about challenging topics such as death and dying. You combine strategic thinking with meticulous attention to detail, and you're passionate about using technology to improve access to grief and mental health support. You have:
* 3+ years of B2B enterprise software sales experience.
* Track record of closing complex enterprise software deals, preferably in regulated markets such as healthcare, mental health, and finance.
* Exemplary written and verbal communication skills and proactive communication habits.
* Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Experience using tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Trello, and Hubspot. If there are tools you haven’t used before, you’ll learn them quickly.
* Experience in a start-up environment that requires you to be proactive and self-directed.
* Ability to occasionally travel for internal meetings, customer meetings and events.
TRAITS
* Flexible: You adapt quickly to new situations and are happy to change focus unexpectedly and frequently.
* Empathetic: We work with people who are grieving and vulnerable, AND in a start-up environment where people are moving quickly, so your empathy and listening skills will help you to avoid making assumptions and remain person-centered at all times.
* Resilient: You ask questions when you don’t know the answer, share when you’re stuck, and gracefully receive and learn from direct feedback, knowing this will help you build new skills and contribute even more to the team’s success.
* Proactive and self-directed: You are a creative problem solver and like coming up with solutions to problems versus having a clear process to follow.
* Curious: You are happiest when you’re learning new things and come to every meeting and conversation having already researched and thought about what you can learn and contribute.
* Collaborative and able to harmonize: You enjoy people and teams, always recognizing that there we’ll move faster together than alone.
WHAT WE OFFER
* Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission.
* Comprehensive health and wellness benefits.
* Generous PTO.
* Lots of growth and learning opportunities.
* Opportunity to drive meaningful social impact and help people.
* Chance to get in on the ground floor of a fast growing company.
