This full-time, contract role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the school’s administrative operations, supporting staff, students, and families in a dynamic and rewarding environment. As an Office Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school’s day-to-day administration runs smoothly. You will be the first point of contact for parents, staff, and external professionals, providing essential support to the school’s leadership team. This role is ideal for an administrator who thrives in a busy setting and has excellent organisational and communication skills. While experience in a school or similar setting is desirable, it is not essential, as training and support will be provided. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the school leadership team, ensuring efficient office operations. Manage incoming calls, emails, and visitors, acting as the first point of contact for parents and external professionals. Maintain accurate records, student files, and school databases in line with GDPR regulations. Assist with school communications, including letters, newsletters, and scheduling meetings. Support HR and recruitment processes, including processing DBS checks and staff documentation. Coordinate school supplies, orders, and general office maintenance. Uphold safeguarding policies and confidentiality procedures at all times. Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience in administration is desirable but not essential. Strong organisational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management.
