The Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Technician is a field-based opportunity across the West Yorkshire region, with occasional travel to the North of England to look after 17 sites.
This opportunity will enable you to focus on the Electrical, Control, and instrumentation maintenance of reciprocating engines and associated plant equipment.
As an electrically biased Technician, your efforts will be directed at the fault finding and successful repair of EC&I components such as thermocouples, relays, pumps, motors and engine control systems, while assisting the mechanical engineers with some light hands-on maintenance.
The successful candidate will ideally possess the following qualifications and experience:
18th Edition, BS 7671
HNC / HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
Electrical maintenance of engines and auxiliary equipment
HV Authorised Person (AP) status is desirable but not essential.
Prior HV experience would be a distinct advantage, however, our client will provide HV training to the successful EC&I Engineer.
