Due to increasing demand for work, our Architectural team has an exciting new opening for a Graduate Architectural Technician.
This is a great opportunity for someone leaving university to gain invaluable experience working within a busy multi-disciplinary construction consultancy, offering Architectural, Civil, Structural, and Geo-Environmental services.
The ideal candidate will have a full UK driving license, and be willing to travel to local and national client sites. With between 0–3 years experience working in the Architectural industry.
Projects cover design for residential, healthcare, industrial, and commercial sectors.
You must have the following:
1. 0-3 Years Experience of Architectural Design & Detailing
2. Self-motivated with a positive attitude
3. Good written English for communicating with clients
4. Ability to work as part of a team, as well as individually
5. A construction-related qualification (ideally Architectural Technology or Architecture)
6. Excellent IT skills and proficiency using Microsoft Office
7. A drive to work towards Chartership
The following would be advantageous but not mandatory:
1. Experience using Autodesk AutoCAD
2. Experience producing building specifications (preferably NBS Chorus)
3. Ability to use Adobe Photoshop
4. Knowledge and understanding of BIM processes
5. Experience producing drawings at all stages (Feasibility through to Construction)
6. A working knowledge of Building Regulations
