Our client is a prestigious international law firm known for its outstanding reputation and collaborative culture. The firm is seeking a senior client development professional to lead their client relationship management team across EMEA. This role is instrumental in advancing the firm’s client-focused strategy and driving sustainable growth.
As Director of Client Development, you will lead a high-performing team and report to the EMEA CMO. You will work closely with the regional Board and Managing Partner to shape and execute the commercial strategy for high-value clients. Your leadership will be key in motivating and guiding client relationship managers while overseeing the bid function.
As a champion of client excellence, you will build trust with client relationship partners (CRPs) and drive strategic client opportunities. You will also inspire and support a community of business development professionals, ensuring best practices in bidding and client relationship management. Additionally, you will take ownership of the firm’s client listening approach, leveraging insights to strengthen relationships and inform firm-wide priorities.
Establishing strong relationships with senior stakeholders will be essential. You will also collaborate with global peers in the US, Canada, Australia, and South Africa to align on international client initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of influencing senior decision-makers in client development and commercial business development, with significant experience in a multinational environment within the legal sector. You should be an inspiring leader with exceptional networking skills and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships while driving change with confidence and strategic vision.
