McGinley are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 LGV Driver to join our team, operating a 6-wheeled rigid lorry in the South Gloucestershire area. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with quarry collections, a solid understanding of vehicle operations, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a 6-wheeled rigid lorry for material transport. Collect and deliver materials to designated sites. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness. Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork. Communicate effectively with site teams and customers. Adhere to all road traffic and safety regulations. Requirements: Valid Class 2 (Category C) LGV license. Current Driver CPC and digital tachograph card. Proven experience driving rigid lorries, preferably 6-wheeled vehicles. Familiarity with quarry operations and loading procedures is highly desirable. Strong understanding of health and safety practices. A positive attitude, reliability, and good timekeeping skills.
