McGinley are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 LGV Driver to join our team, operating a 6-wheeled rigid lorry in the South Gloucestershire area. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with quarry collections, a solid understanding of vehicle operations, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate a 6-wheeled rigid lorry for material transport.
* Collect and deliver materials to designated sites.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
* Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
* Communicate effectively with site teams and customers.
* Adhere to all road traffic and safety regulations.
Requirements:
* Valid Class 2 (Category C) LGV license.
* Current Driver CPC and digital tachograph card .
* Proven experience driving rigid lorries, preferably 6-wheeled vehicles.
* Familiarity with quarry operations and loading procedures is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
* A positive attitude, reliability, and good timekeeping skills.
