Job Description
We’re on a mission to reignite brand heat and establish ASOS as the first place to go for new trends. Social media isn’t something we just do. It’s at the very centre of all our marketing activity and our product design. We have an incredibly exciting opportunity for a fashion and social media passionate professional to work as part of our team leading our social media output and drive brand fame through incredible campaigns for one of the worlds most loved and exciting brands in fashion.
As a social-first brand, you will be a key part of the campaigns team ensuring ASOS’s social output is best in class. You will support on creating captivating and on-brand campaigns that resonate with 20 somethings, drives engagement, and increases brand awareness at scale. The successful candidate will be creative, strategic, and have a passion for getting deep understanding of social media platforms as well as being fully immersed in youth culture and trends.
The Details
1. We want your creative flair on our marketing campaigns! We're looking for someone who can generate fresh ideas that make our content pop, stay on trend, and capture that iconic ASOS vibe.
2. You'll be posting and scheduling content, keeping our social media calendar buzzing with activity across all platforms.
3. Join in on campaign planning to make sure everything we do reflects ASOS’s brand vision and goals.
4. Day-to-day, you'll manage our social media accounts—engaging with our community, responding to comments and messages, and keeping the conversation going wherever and whenever needed.
5. Work hand-in-hand with our community management and influencer marketing teams to amplify our campaigns and boost engagement.
6. Help manage assets and tag campaigns to ensure everything runs smoothly and on time.
7. Support our Senior Social Media Executive by diving into organic boosting and Spark codes when needed.
8. Your analytical skills will be key—turning data into actionable insights that drive our campaign strategies. Plus, you'll get to integrate live events and activations into our social media mix for an extra impact.
9. Attend shoots and collaborate with the creative team to make sure all our social content is platform-ready and optimized. Partner with the strategy team to bring our social campaigns to life with a best-in-class approach.
10. Most importantly, you'll embody the ASOS tone of voice in everything you do, making sure our content is always on-brand and resonates with our customers.
11. You'll also support our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives within the team.
Qualifications
About You
1. You have experience as a Social Media Executive or a Social Media Assistant, preferably within the fashion, beauty, or retail industry.
2. You live and breathe social media; you understand the key differences between each platform and have a passion for scrolling through trends. Excellent creative thinking and communication skills.
3. You are besties with process and take pride in your organizational skills.
4. You are known in the group chat as the creative mind of the group, you always amp up the fashion chats and are always the first one to get your hands on the best new in at ASOS.
5. You don’t shy away from a challenge and thrive when handed different projects in a fast-paced environment.
