Our client, a law firm with an excellent reputation for their work in property, is on the lookout for a Plot Sales Paralegal to join their team in Leeds. The role would suit someone who is already working as a Plot Sales Paralegal, or someone working as a residential conveyancing assistant or remortgage fee earner, who is looking to move into something slightly more commercial.
Responsibilities:
1. Working in a small sub team, within a larger plot sales team, supporting a fee earner on a caseload of plot sales on behalf of a particular housebuilder client.
2. Liaising with the client and providing ongoing updates.
3. Working towards completion deadlines, and ensuring cases are progressed efficiently.
4. Working with the wider residential development team in relation to the set up of the sites.
5. Preparing files for exchange and completion.
6. Working with both private sales and social housing.
7. General administrative support.
What's on offer?
1. Competitive salary dependent on experience; candidates with significant residential conveyancing or plot sales experience are likely to attract the higher end of the salary bracket.
2. Genuine career progression opportunities to allow you to grow into a plot sales conveyancer role or move internally within the residential development unit.
3. Ongoing training sessions and support.
4. Manageable volumes of cases.
5. Discretionary bonus scheme.
6. Hybrid working.
Requirements:
1. Plot sales, conveyancing or remortgage experience in excess of 1 year.
