Hours Of Work: Tuesday 9.30 am to 4.15pm, Wednesday 8.30 am to 4.30pm, Thursday 9.00 am to 6pm (30 minutes lunch time each day)

Based in the Hair and Beauty Department as part of a small team of technicians, we are looking for a Beauty Technician to assist and facilitate the lecturers and students in a practical realistic working environment, issuing kits, uniforms, products, equipment and stock. You will also support the centre in moving forward meeting the demands of the industry and the needs of staff and students. In addition you will also be responsible for health and safety of the curriculum and support the development of the commercial offer within the Spa Academy and the development of sustained links with schools to drive recruitment.
You should possess a NVQ Level 2 in Beauty Therapy and a Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in numeracy and literacy. You should also have experience of stock control and Health & Safety at work. You must be competent in the use of IT, have excellent attention to detail and experience of dealing with problems in a professional and confident manner.
