The Role
Bolton Music Service wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Teacher of Percussion. You will join a high performing and experienced team of teachers and will be required to teach whole classes, groups and individuals in schools and to direct and support ensembles in our Music Centre as part of our out-of-school programme. This is a full-time post and could include teaching other instruments depending on your specialist skills. This role will cover locations within Bolton and Blackburn with Darwen. This is a Fixed term role linked to funding from the Arts Council.
About You
The successful applicant will have a passion for teaching in schools, for inspiring young people to engage with music, and will be an excellent team player. You will have experience of teaching whole classes in primary schools, and also teaching individuals and groups to a high musical standard. You will demonstrate a high level of personal musicianship, and this will shine through your teaching.
