The Regional Property and Critical Engineering department manages the delivery of best-in-class property and engineering management services to enhance staff workplace satisfaction and productivity, providing a consistently reliable infrastructure 24/7 to support a world-leading financial services company's operations. We manage and deliver on the Pride and Precision mission in everything we do within the regional property and engineering management operations space.
As a Regional Property and Critical Engineering Head - Global Real Estate – Executive Director in the Regional Property and Critical Engineering department, you will develop short- and long-term strategic property and engineering programs in line with Global Real Estate (GRE) global and regional agendas to support business needs, leveraging the latest industry and market trends and innovations.
Job responsibilities
* Lead and Develop Teams - Build a high-performing team with passionate, role-fit professionals, focusing on talent attraction and retention; ensure cohesive operations across property management, workplace operations, FLS/EHS, and engineering functions.
* Standardize and Implement Guidelines - Maintain consistency of global/regional playbooks, guidelines, standards, and procedures within the region; deliver precision and pride in daily team operations.
* Promote Sustainability - Develop programs supporting the firm’s green goals, incorporating industry trends and market opportunities; manage sustainability initiatives holistically, advancing firm goals from site selection to daily operations.
* Enhance Resiliency - Strategize and implement a resiliency program through well-designed infrastructure and resource platforms; oversee management of owned and co-located data centers, representing GRE in firmwide resiliency forums.
* Facilitate Project Design and Transactions - Support transaction teams with efficient site selection and technical due diligence to meet business objectives; manage design remits for new projects, ensuring alignment with standards and operational requirements.
* Cultivate Client Relationships - Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal clients and stakeholders, including Technology, Security, and Compliance.
* Ensure Safety and Compliance - Manage FLS and EHS programs in accordance with firm standards and regulatory requirements; conduct periodic audits and represent the firm in governance forums.
* Oversee Moves, Adds, and Changes (MACs) - Coordinate closely with D&C PMO to deliver timely and cost-effective services to clients.
* Control Financials and Operations - Develop and manage property and engineering budgets in coordination with finance and regional management; ensure effective financial reporting and operational analytics to drive cost and performance improvements.
* Manage Vendor Partnerships - Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with objectives, service level agreements, and KPIs; collaborate with the Sourcing team to maintain strategic vendor partnerships.
* Support Critical Engineering - Provide oversight and support for engineering leadership in business engagements, reporting, and administration.
