TGS is seeking to recruit a commercially driven sales executive as an account manager for some of our most valued clients in Europe. As part of an Eastern Hemisphere sales team, you will take responsibility for sales of multi-client seismic data and products to some of the most established oil and gas companies with operations in Europe. Some accounts will have a wider geographical reach.
You will coordinate engagement with your clients across all TGS service lines and develop an account plan to ensure mutual understanding of client needs and how TGS can support their goals. We are looking for a self-starter with commercial acumen and a proven track record of networking. An understanding of the seismic industry is valuable but not required to have a technical geophysics background.
Purpose and Scope
* Responsible for identifying and negotiating contracts and delivering multi-client data to clients in Europe.
* Responsible for executing the multi-client sales business strategy for your accounts.
* Contribute to achieving sales targets and monetizing the data library across TGS.
* Maintain strong day-to-day account management across all business lines and execute the Client Account Management strategy.
* Utilize support functions (Geoscience, GIS, legal, etc.) to facilitate a smooth sales process.
Key Responsibilities
* Generate and qualify leads through networking, market research, and client outreach.
* Present sales solutions to existing and prospective customers.
* Create and implement a Sales Action Plan, maintaining credible forecasts and pipelines.
* Develop marketing and promotion campaigns aligned with sales triggers and government strategies.
* Collaborate with Business Development teams to ensure relevant country strategies are up-to-date.
* Understand client drivers to focus sales efforts effectively.
* Identify additional business opportunities within other company services.
* Stay knowledgeable about company's products and services to support sales efforts.
* Work with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
* Maintain an actionable account plan for key clients.
* Identify areas for improvement.
