Overview:
H&P is representing an established middle market private equity firm in the search for an experienced Investor Relations and Capital Formation individual. They are looking to hire an experience individual with existing Private Equity investor relations experience to help with their next fundraise.
Firm Overview
* Co-founded by ex-large cap tech investors.
* Investment preferences in technology, tech enabled services in energy sectors.
* Fund 1: £180m.
* Fund II raising soon.
* Pref Company Valuation: £25m - £100m
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Investor Communication Strategy:
* Coordinate investor meetings, conferences, roadshows, and other events to facilitate engagement with investors and analysts.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, analysts, and other stakeholders, responding to inquiries and providing timely and accurate information.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
* Analyze financial results, industry trends, and peer benchmarking data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Relationship Management:
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, sell-side analysts, and other key stakeholders.
* Proactively engage with investors and analysts to understand their perspectives and address any concerns or questions they may have.
Develop and Execute Fundraising Strategy:
* Identify potential sources of capital, including institutional investors, venture capitalists, private equity firms, and strategic partners.
* Support fundraising efforts alongside a placement agent by preparing compelling investment materials, including pitch decks, offering memorandums, and financial models.
Investor Outreach and Engagement:
* Conduct targeted outreach to prospective investors to generate interest in the company's fundraising initiatives.
* Build and maintain relationships with existing investors to secure follow-on investments and support ongoing fundraising efforts.
* Organize investor meetings, presentations, and due diligence sessions to facilitate investor engagement and commitment.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in investor relations at a private equity firm.
* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
* Track record of building and maintaining relationships with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders.
