The Role:
Hampshire County Council is looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Highways Engineer for the Transport & Environmental Design team within Engineering Services. We are looking for talented and motivated individuals with a good working knowledge of the design and project management of highway schemes that will enhance the efficiency and safety of the Hampshire road network.
In this role you will have an opportunity to be involved in a range of schemes from inception through to completion. Using your existing skills, you will design and deliver cost effective solutions in accordance with the relevant design standards.
The role will also provide scope to develop existing skills and progress your career with exposure to a diverse project workload. Alongside your design experience, you will need excellent communication and IT skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines.
