Job ID: 4218 Alternate Locations: United Kingdom-England-Manchester; United Kingdom-England-Avonmouth; United Kingdom-England-Bristol; United Kingdom-England-Cheadle Location: Manchester area (Cheadle) or Bristol (Avonmouth) Reports to: Commercial Finance Manager Contract type: Permanent Your Role & Team in a Nutshell As a Finance Analyst, you will support the preparation of financial reports, budgeting, and reforecasting processes, and analyze financial data within the UK&I cluster for brands like Sharpie, Yankee Candle, Breville, Spontex and others. You will work closely with the regional FP&A team to provide insightful commentary on monthly results, budgets, and forecast planning. Additionally, you will support the UK&I Commercial Finance team by consolidating month-end results. We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses. Your Key Responsibilities: - Support the cluster financial timetable of monthly and annual deliverables. - Assist with month-end delivery, understand variances, and ensure all deliverables required by the FP&A regional team are timely and of high quality. - Support cluster forecasting, including pulse/estimate and budget processes, and maintain supporting tools. - Manage performance trackers (KPIs) and key business initiatives dashboards to support cluster delivery. - Support monthly external reporting (Monthly Business Reviews/Country Letters). - Provide standardized monthly P&L reporting to sales teams. - Power BI reporting support, assistance with Sales Bonus tracking and payout calculations. - Manage Advertising & Promotion tracker - Overheads management and ad-hoc commercial analysis (full P&L) and reporting. What You'll Need Minimum: - Experience in a similar position, preferably in the consumer goods sector - Training towards an accountancy qualification like ACCA, CIMA etc. (support to be provided for ongoing training). - Advanced MS Excel skills. Your advantage: - Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle, etc.) and Power BI data modeling - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to challenge and influence positively. - Ability to communicate financial information to non-finance colleagues. - Excellent organizational skills incl. ability to manage competing priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
