Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for automotive care. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of tyres and cars on various vehicles, ensuring safety and performance standards are met.
Responsibilities
* Perform tyre installations, rotations, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
* Conduct thorough inspections of tyres to assess wear and damage.
* Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
* Assist in heavy lifting of tyres and equipment as required.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety standards are upheld.
* Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering advice on tyre maintenance.
* Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used.
Qualifications
* Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair preferred.
* Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 kg) as part of daily duties.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous but not essential.
* Previous experience as a tyre technician or in a similar role is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
