Are you a passionate and proactive teaching assistant with a flair for supporting children’s academic and social development? PK Education is excited to be recruiting for a dynamic and dedicated Lower KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a large, diverse 2-form entry school located in the heart of LS11.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to work closely with Year 2 and Year 3 pupils, helping them achieve their full potential. You will be supporting key pupils with behaviour management and engagement, conducting interventions, and facilitating small group activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Year 2 and Year 3 students with academic and social development
Help implement behaviour management strategies and ensure positive engagement within the classroom
Work closely with teachers to deliver small group interventions and personalised support
Provide encouragement and guidance to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Be hands-on and pro-active in assisting with lesson delivery and classroom activities
Essential Requirements:

Experience supporting children in an educational setting (preferably in KS1 or KS2)
A passion for helping children and making a positive impact on their learning journey
Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to engage pupils effectively
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with staff and pupils alike
A positive, hands-on attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for helping children succeed
