The opportunity

Our procurement and supply chain team work very closely with our clients to implement a best practice and responsible procurement and supply chain pathway to contract award in managing the full procurement process and supply chain integration.
Project Scope:
We have been appointed to a complex, 10-15 year, multi £bn programme to redevelop a scientific campus in the London / South East area. We are the Delivery Partner, delivering design and construction of enabling, infrastructure and building projects in a live environment on a site of national importance maintaining logistics and operations with technical and construction partners.
Our client is looking to transform their campus and how they operate while maintaining a world-class science and research capability, retaining and developing specialist expertise, in a collaborative and health and safety conscious way.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing and performing end to end procurement exercises including:
* Prequalification management via Standard Selection Questionnaire process
* Drafting tender documents
* Tender issuance and management (via approved online portals such as ProContract)
* Evaluating tenders
* Supporting commercial management of contractual agreements and arrangements
* Provide guidance and support to bid strategy development
* Development and drafting of procurement strategy documents
* Client advisory services on procurement and supply chain process and policy
We are looking for an individual with:
* An excellent understanding of public procurement regulations and practices including the EU directives
* Experienced with OJEU / the latest Find a Tender processes
* A solid knowledge of contract law and an ability to support on contract and commercial aspects
* Full Membership or studying for Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply Management desired
* Infrastructure and complex project procurement experience is desired.
About you
* Experienced in Public Procurement Regulations 2015, OJEU and EU Directives
* Have excellent communication and presentation skills
* Be experienced in the use on online procurement systems / on-line tender portals
* Collaborative and team player ethic and be willing to support / manage junior team members
* Experience in prequalification and tender management process and evaluation.
* Ideally SC Clearance but not essential
