We’re looking for an enthusiastic, responsible and self-motivated individual to join our Warehouse team here in Woking.
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for:
1. Completing duties predominately within the yard, ensuring all orders are picked, packed and shipped efficiently.
2. Loading and unloading vehicles in a safe and proactive manner.
3. Working closely with both the Warehouse and Softener supplies.
4. Becoming a key part of the Harvey Water Softeners operational team.
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 17:00pm, Friday 8:30am - 12:30pm, Saturday 8:30am - 12:30am
What this role involves:
1. Pick, pack and ship filter orders in a timely manner.
2. Load and unload vehicles using a forklift.
3. Deal with trade and dealer orders and load these onto vehicles.
4. Replenish stock.
5. Maintain stock control (taking accountability for transacting stock used).
6. Work with the inventory controller and team leader to ensure process improvements are adhered to.
7. Perform general warehouse duties, including cleaning and maintenance.
8. Adhere to H&S standards and report near misses where applicable.
9. Complete stock takes (potentially one per quarter).
What we're looking for:
1. Previous experience working within a warehouse environment.
2. Experience in a physical stock control environment.
3. Previous forklift experience.
4. Computer literate.
5. Flexible with a willing approach.
6. Team player who can work independently and use their own initiative.
7. Strong time management skills.
