As well as our core public health team, Bradford Council secured £4.7 million funding from the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) to establish a Health Determinants ResearchCollaboration(HDRC).We have built a new team ofenthusiasticprofessionals who will worktogetherto transform the Council into an evidence led organisation that works as an equal partner in generating evidence that is used to deliver high quality interventions and life changing services to our citizens. Lets talk about your skills and experience. You will be either on the GMC/GDC Specialist Register or UK Public Health (Specialist) Register or within 6 months of gaining entry. You will have in-depth knowledge of evidence based public health, methods of evaluation and quality improvement. You will have strong analytical skills, able to utilize both qualitative and quantitative information. You will have a strongunderstandingof the interfaces between health, social care and key partners (dealing with the wider determinants of health).
