Job Description
As a sales executive, your role is to sell as many of the company’s goods or services as possible. As such, you have a very important role to play in the company’s success.
Your daily activities will include:
1. Maintaining a satisfactory level of performance in relation to sales targets and professional conduct
2. Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls, and emails
3. Generating new leads with new customers and clients in order to prospect for new business
4. Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
5. Finding appropriate solutions to objections
6. Offering accurate appraisals, and effective negotiation in relation to part exchange vehicles with clients and managers
7. Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
8. Making accurate calculations, and providing customers with accurate quotations
9. Arranging for the provision of finance and insurance products through third parties
10. Ensuring payment is received for goods or services
11. Liaising with service suppliers, colleagues, and managers to check on the progress of existing orders
12. Ensuring accurate completion of any required documentation
13. Discussing and understanding any promotions with managers and colleagues and effectively advising customers of such
14. Gathering market and customer information and providing feedback
15. Ensuring satisfactory presentation of goods on display and in stock
16. Sourcing suitable stock for retail or trade sale
17. Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to consistently meet and exceed targets
18. Attending team meetings and representing your organisation at trade exhibitions or other events
19. Compliance with all regulatory and relevant advisory bodies standards
20. Ensuring competence with any relevant IT systems used within the organisation
Person Requirements
To be a sales executive at Georgesons, you need to have:

Experience required:
1. Have an outstanding record of sales achievement, ideally within the motor industry
2. Be able to work with defined processes and guidelines
3. Have an understanding of database management

FCA: This role is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and will require that the job holder complete the SAF assessment. They will be required to work within the guidelines as per the FCA Policy and the ‘supervisory’ section with regard to Insurance Code of Business.

Pay: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
