Fitter / Workshop Engineer / Electromechanical Fitter required to join a leading Engineering manufacturer in Aberdeen.
The Successful Fitter / Workshop Engineer / Electromechanical Fitter will provide stripping, fitting, and rebuilding of motors, gearboxes, engines, generators and similar rotating equipment at the workshop in Aberdeen.
The Fitter / Workshop Engineer / Electromechanical Fitter will have electrical or mechanical fitting experience of motors, gearboxes, engines, generators, compressed air, pumps, and or similar electromechanical rotating machinery products and systems.

Fitter / Workshop Engineer / Electromechanical Fitter role
Will provide stripping, fitting, and rebuilding of motors, gearboxes, engines, generators and similar rotating equipment at the workshop in Aberdeen
Will ensure all components are correctly fitted and operational before delivery.
Install electrical and mechanical machinery such as gearboxes, motors, generators, pumps, engines into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
Identify machinery damage and conduct basic electrical testing of equipment
Ability to complete technical documentation as work is progresses.
Liaise with various engineering departments
Fitter / Workshop Engineer / Electromechanical Fitter Requirements
Experience as an fitter, hydraulic fitter, mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, hydraulic engineer, valve technician, installation engineer, electro-mechanical fitter, service engineer, electrical engineer, workshop engineer, service technician or similar.
Good electromechanical engineering background such as wiring, circuitry, pumps, gearboxes, valves, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, generators, or similar electromechanical / rotating machinery products or systems.
The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
An engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
Willingness to commute to the workshop in Aberdeen.
