The Opportunity The role of Product Manager for the global technical fibre and composite solution markets is responsible for identifying new products, sales strategies, positioning, sales enablement, pricing, and demand generation to assist the business in achieving its goals. The role will have an in-depth understanding of the customer’s unique needs and be able to communicate those to the wider business to ensure we continue to add value for customers. Additionally leveraging this insight to play an active role in new product development, by identifying key products that meet the customers future needs and working alongside the Head of Marketing to deploy portfolio management strategies. You will be responsible for; Analysing Composite markets and trends, using that research to inform TFP’s segmentation strategy to develop products and solutions aligned with strategic growth objectives. Building a deep understanding of the customer, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, drive growth & increase profitability. Playing an active role in product development, liaising with key stakeholders to ensure TFP drives innovation that matches market and customers needs. Launching new products including positioning and messaging, launching the product, and ensuring salespeople and customers understand the product Developing forward focused portfolio strategy ensuring longevity and added value for customers ensuring that the sales team has the tools and vernacular to help convert sales. Composite markets Identify route to market for products, including new territories, and distribution methods. Collaborate alongside internal stakeholders (finance and sales) to develop product pricing and positioning strategies culminating in a clear value proposition. Understand the ecosystem, value chain and decision-making process for the Composite markets. Produce and execute market growth programmes and assist in the development of product demos, brochures and other marketing collateral tailored for markets and customers ensuring that the sales team has the tools and vernacular to help convert sales. The successful candidate will be required to travel for the position What will make you successful? Proven experience in product management within a dynamic commercial environment. Degree level education with formal marketing qualification (e.g. CIM Level 4 or higher). Proven experience in product management within a dynamic commercial environment. Demonstrated Digital Marketing experience Proven experience in B2B marketing within technical product management Excellent written and oral communication abilities, including the capability to persuade others, manage expectations, and handle challenging conversations or feedback.
