Tudor Griffiths Group are seeking to recruit a Full Time Weighbridge Operator / Transport Planner based at our head office in Ellesmere, Shropshire.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Accurately record all incoming transactions through the weighbridge system.
* Assist customers with the correct documentation of transactions when collecting aggregates.
* Conduct public weighing services as required.
* Coordinate and plan daily transport movements for the company’s fleet.
* Liaise with satellite plants to monitor aggregate stock levels and organise deliveries accordingly.
* Support the management team in ensuring statutory compliance, customer care, and technical aspects relating to the waste received and deliveries scheduled.
* Learn other systems, such as those related to the Skip Division, to provide cover when necessary.
Skills / Experience:
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Computer literate.
* Highly organised with the ability to meet targets and produce timely reports.
* Experience or familiarity with transport scheduling, the waste industry, and aggregates is beneficial.
* Understanding of operational responsibilities and environmental legislation is advantageous.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations is preferred.
Hours of work: Monday-Friday, 6.30am-5pm, with occasional overtime.
