Job Description
The key responsibilities of an Accounts Payable Clerk will include:
* Manage accounts payable using accounting software and other programs.
* Handle account inquiries and reconcile statements.
* Process invoices, payments, and track expenses.
* Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
* Maintain vendor relationships and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Adhere to all accounting procedures and policies.
* Report any irregularities in data to the management.
* Assist with the preparation of monthly and yearly closings.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
* Proven experience working in an Accounts Payable role
* Strong understanding of accounting principles.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
* Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
