Are you a skilled electrical engineer with expertise in commissioning and integrating high-voltage (HV) systems? We’re seeking a
Project Engineer
to oversee and deliver new connections and private network projects at 11kV, 33kV, and 132kV.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with installation teams, HV jointers, and SAPs to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Commission transformer and switchgear installations (11kV, 33kV, and 132kV) following manufacturers' requirements.
Work with leading OEM technical standards, including Schneider, Siemens, Lucy, ABB, and Brush.
Install and test control wiring/control systems.
Test and familiarise with protection relays such as VIP, Micom, and Sepam.
Manage small work packages and support installation activities across various projects.
Define project commissioning tasks and corresponding material/resource requirements.
Develop commissioning programs aligned with overall project timelines.
Compile Work Packages, Job Instructions, and RAMS.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and technical performance standards for all projects.
What We're Looking For
ONC/BTEC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Current HV authorisation (11kV and 33kV private networks or DNO).
Emergency First Aid & Manual Handling certifications.
CSCS/ECS card holder.
Strong background in industrial electrical engineering and installation.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and flow diagrams.
Proficient IT skills.
A full, clean driving licence.
