Business Development Manager, Global Imports Program

Amazon is seeking a dynamic problem solver and motivated Global Sales Business Development Manager to help global international brands grow their business in India.
The International Expansions (IE) organization’s charter is to rapidly expand Amazon’s retail presence globally, partnering closely with category management, technology, and product teams to deliver the world’s largest selection to our international customers. Within the IE organization, our team's vision is to enable vendors and sellers to go global, discovering global business insights that drive customer engagement and ensure our success in new and emerging marketplaces.
The objective of this position is to deliver business growth to existing international brands from across the world on Amazon India and to deliver new business growth to Amazon by delighting our customers in India.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Helping define key business segments & clusters to target.
2. Establishing relationships with brand owners, and driving interactions with these companies to build long-term business opportunity.
3. Seller recruitment by engaging and influencing senior executives of strategic international brands.
4. Driving the seller onboarding process with focus on prospecting, pitching, negotiation and objection handling.
5. Understanding products and services offered by Amazon and articulating their functions and benefits to external audiences.
6. Collaborating with internal onboarding teams to effectively expand international brands into India.
7. Working with key internal stakeholders to set priorities and develop category targets that underpin category strategy.
8. Reviewing and monitoring performance and sales of key sellers to manage their performance.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of sales experience
- 4+ years of B2B sales experience
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
- Experience closing sales and generating revenue
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
- Experience influencing C-level executives
