Job Description: Design Engineer - Formula One
with expertise in any of the following areas:
1. Composites
2. Suspension

Job Overview: As a Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development of their high-performance Formula One race car. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will use your expertise in design to create innovative solutions that enhance the car's performance, reliability, and competitiveness. Your proficiency in CATIA V5 will be crucial in translating concepts into precise, manufacturable designs.
Responsibilities:
5. Collaborate with aerodynamics, mechanical, and other teams to understand design requirements and objectives.
6. Design and develop components, systems, or structures related to [Composite/Suspension/Powertrain/Stress] with a focus on performance optimization.
7. Utilize CATIA V5 to create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings of designs.
8. Perform detailed stress, thermal, and dynamic analyses to ensure designs meet safety, durability, and performance standards.
9. Contribute to the selection of materials and manufacturing processes that align with performance goals and regulations.
10. Participate in design reviews, providing insights and recommendations to enhance the overall design process.
11. Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure seamless transition from design to fabrication.
12. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices within Formula One and [Composite/Suspension/Powertrain/Stress] design.
13. Assist in troubleshooting and providing solutions to design-related challenges during testing and race events.
14. Uphold a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the design team.
Qualifications:
15. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
16. years of hands-on experience in [Composite/Suspension/Powertrain/Stress] design within the Formula One industry.
17. Proficiency in CATIA V5, with a proven ability to create complex 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
