Purchasing Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Manager for our reputable engineering business based in Grantham. You will be working for a company that is experiencing a period of growth and innovation.
Your role as Purchasing Manager will include:
1. Pricing all materials for production.
2. RFQ forms, updating of ERP system.
3. Control and manage purchase orders created.
4. Advising the Operations team of product costs.
5. Liaising between planning, design, and stores operations.
6. Organising and management of the component system.
7. Preparing and maintaining cost reports along with Stock Control.
8. Negotiating terms with suppliers once contracts are secured and ensuring quality of goods.
We are looking for an experienced buyer with an engineering and manufacturing background. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have a keen eye for keeping costs down while ensuring the quality of products is maintained to the highest standard.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 5pm, Friday 8.30am - 1pm (39 hours per week). Accessible by local transport and based in Grantham.
