Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for supporting and monitoring the 'Scheduling' function of the Continuing Healthcare process; primarily the arranging of appointments, and diary management, for the Nurse Assessors in order to complete assessments to determine eligibility of CHC funding. The role will include liaising with Senior Management, members of the public and other stakeholders, whilst also supporting a team of Business Support Assistants within the same area of the process.

We are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Business Support Assistant to support the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Continuing Healthcare team.
This role is an exciting opportunity to form part of a dynamic team committed to providing high quality services. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively within a team operating across multiple bases, and will be enthusiastic, highly motivated, flexible and multi-skilled. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Referrals, Assessment and Review team in processing aspects of the Continuing Health Care pathway including new referrals, DST assessments, package of care reviews and safe and well checks.
This role will include close liaison with both NHS partners and wider organisations including the private and voluntary sector.

6. 4 GCSE's grade 9-4 (inc Maths & English) or equivalent
7. RSA 3/OCR Text Production/Word Processing Level 3 or equivalent
8. NVQ Level 4 Administration or significant relevant experience

9. Demonstrable experience in dealing with the public and dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
10. Experience of working within a fast paced working environment.
11. Significant experience of routine office systems and detailed processes.
12. Experience of working with multiple Microsoft applications and the internet, eg. Microsoft Teams and Office 365, Sharepoint, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
