Grade 7 (SCP 25 – 30)
£35,235 - £39,513 per annum (pro-rata if part time) (Subject to Job Evaluation)
£18.26– £20.48 per hour
25 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of the Town Centre Market team at Redditch Borough Council. A Market Manager is required to oversee and manage the operation and development of a busy town centre market.
We are looking for a creative, forward-thinking individual with the drive to develop the new outdoor market and maximise commercial opportunities.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the operation of the town centre market.
2. Develop and implement strategies to maximize commercial opportunities.
3. Manage a small team and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
4. Confidently manage the market budget.
Qualifications:
1. Experience in a managerial role in a market setting or similar.
2. Knowledge of market operations and policies.
3. Ability to work outside of normal office hours, including weekends.
