Job Purpose
Maintains and repairs all equipment and premises according to the maintenance plan to ensure the continuity of production in the manufacturing center.
Job Description
* Executes tasks in a safe and timely manner while adhering to our Safe System of Work (SSOW) and company QHSE standards and procedures.
* Ensures maintenance systems including the CMMS are kept up to date with all the relevant information and documentation.
* Actively participates in the continuous improvement of maintenance processes & practices related to Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
* Seeks ways of improving efficiency and reliability of manufacturing assets.
* Provides training and support and shares knowledge with other team members.
You are meant for this job if:
Essential Skills:
* Knowledge of Health and Safety protocols including Risk Assessment & Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO).
* Fault finding using electrical and mechanical drawings/ schematics and ability to follow documented procedures.
* Servicing of high-pressure hydraulic systems including fluid transfer, electrical systems, pneumatic systems and general mechanical proficiency.
* Basic PLC/ SCADA fault finding skills.
* CMMS, Basic MS Office 365 products & PC Literacy.
* Communicates and collaborates constructively with stakeholders including A&T Personnel, Prod Eng & HSE to maintain a safe and effective operation.
* Communicates and collaborates constructively with wider Maintenance team to ensure safe and effective equipment maintenance and handovers.
* Consistently and robustly captures equipment activity in maintenance CMMS.
* Works effectively on own initiative or as part of a small team to prioritise and complete tasks and is a ‘good teammate’.
* Comfortable in stopping the work when requirements unclear or not available.
Desirable Skills:
* Basic problem solving tools and techniques.
* Creating new procedures & documentation.
* Deployment of Condition Based Maintenance & machine diagnostic programs.
* First Aid/ IOSH trained.
* Commitment to Problem solving & continuous improvement culture.
* Organises and conducts training to improve competence across Maintenance team.
* Works effectively in high pressure situations and adapts to changing priorities.
* Keeps up to date with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practice.
