The successful Assistant Psychologist will work within the Children and Young People's Inpatient Service under the supervision of a qualified Psychologist. The post holder will be required to work within a multi-disciplinary team, maintaining clinical audits, undertaking direct clinical work and supporting the research and evaluation of the service. The successful candidate will demonstrate their ability to work within multidisciplinary teams, and should have experience of working in mental health settings. Experience with young people and/or inpatient settings is also desirable. The post holder will have achieved a 2:1 or higher BPS accredited degree (or equivalent) which gives them eligibility for BPS membership. It must be documented in the application how this is met.
