Part time will be considered
To support the identification and growth of training and business opportunities across the entire College within a designated industry sector. This includes sourcing new client leads, strengthening relationships with existing clients, and building a robust pipeline of skills and training opportunities that align with the College’s business plan and employer needs. The role also acts as a "one-stop shop" for businesses, providing comprehensive support with apprenticeships, work experience, curriculum co-design, and other employer-related services.

Key Responsibilities
Employer Engagement and Business Development:
* Build and maintain a pipeline of new business and contacts to promote the College's offer across all provision types, in line with the agreed business plan and targets.
* Promote the benefits of the College's training services and courses to employers, generating and converting leads via field sales, networking, cold calling, and other methods.
* Engage with existing businesses and employers to identify opportunities for further training, consultancy, and apprenticeship enrolment.
* Work with employers and the apprenticeship team to establish links and generate new opportunities for students.
* Identify and convert levy opportunities from existing and new employers.
* Attend employer meetings, visits, and presentations to secure business opportunities.
* Develop proposals, tenders, and bids to capture new business.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
5 GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above) including English and Mathematics, or equivalent.
A-levels or equivalent qualifications.
Proven experience in researching and generating sales, leading to profitable business development.
Field-based business development and sales experience, engaging with new and existing clients.
Demonstrable experience in managing B2B relationships and account management.
