THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL Reporting into the Head of Marketing & eCommerce, the Senior Brand Marketing Manager will take full ownership of Dock & Bay’s brand strategy, with the ultimate goal of driving brand awareness and recognition across all key markets (UK, US, AU, CA, and EU). The brand strategy will encompass a comprehensive range of initiatives, including marketing campaigns, partnerships and collaborations, brand activations and events, PR efforts, and a robust social media strategy. In this role, you will champion Dock & Bay’s brand vision and values, ensuring they are embedded in every aspect of the business’s communication and engagement. You will strive to deliver consistency across all brand touchpoints, building trust and loyalty with customers while increasing the brand’s presence and impact in the market. With a forward-thinking mindset, you’ll always be on the lookout for new and exciting opportunities to take Dock & Bay to the next level. This includes staying ahead of market trends, exploring creative ways to connect with new audiences, and ensuring Dock & Bay remains relevant. Your leadership will inspire bold and creative thinking, helping to position Dock & Bay as a widely recognised and loved brand. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (WE’RE GETTING SERIOUS NOW) Own the brand marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving brand growth across all key markets. Develop and execute an annual marketing campaign plan across all markets (UK, US, CA, AU, EU) that resonates with our customers and keeps us ahead of the trends. Lead game-changing brand awareness initiatives, including partnerships, events, and PR efforts, ensuring measurable impact. Oversee the brand’s tone of voice and visual consistency, embedding our values into every piece of communication. Create strategies to grow our social media presence, manage an engaging content calendar, and build a strong influencer /content creator community. Drive product collaborations and partnerships, from ideation to execution, to bring innovative ideas to life. Excel in project management by driving seamless execution of campaigns while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Analyse campaign performance and customer insights to refine strategies and improve future initiatives. Manage 2 direct reports, including the Social & Content Manager and the Creative Comms Manager. Mentor and inspire the brand marketing team, creating a collaborative and high-performing environment. Collaborate with the design team to produce campaign assets that meet strategic objectives and brand guidelines. Manage budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across campaigns and initiatives. Build strong relationships with external partners, like-minded brands, and influencers to enhance brand visibility and engagement. Desired experience: 5–7 years of experience as a Senior Brand Manager, preferably in a fast-paced or high-growth environment. Proven team management and mentoring experience, fostering collaboration and high performance. Demonstrated expertise in building and managing partnerships, with strong networking skills to cultivate external relationships. Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of delivering campaigns and initiatives on time and within budget. Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to align brand strategies with business objectives. Experience managing a brand marketing budget and reporting on spend Experience working with direct-to-consumer (DTC) retail brands, ideally in the lifestyle or sustainability space.
