Description
Job Purpose:
A qualified Quality Engineer with experience of developing and implementing quality and business improvements to maximise production, profitability, and customer service within an Aerospace manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have good commercial awareness and excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop business relationships to promote growth within the company whilst maintaining quality standards. The role requires a self-motivated individual who is able to work without supervision and can make effective decisions to minimise quality-related problems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support New Product Introduction
2. Compile FAIR documentation AS9102
3. Support Guage R and R
4. Create Inspection Plan
5. Support FMEA
6. Compile concessions
7. Action Customer Returns
8. NCR & MRB control
9. 8D, PFMEA, PSCA/Continuous Improvement
10. Ensure close out of relevant RCCA
11. Review Specifications
12. Setup/Control Quality Report databases
13. To support the Quality Manager in various tasks
Qualifications & Experience:
14. Degree/HNC Engineering and/or Equivalent professional qualification
15. Working knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems and NADCAP
16. Ability to audit to ISO AS9100/ISO9001
17. Ability to implement Quality Systems and databases including process.
flow charts and SPC
18. Experience with continuous improvement techniques
19. Computer literate (Excel proficient)
20. Experience within composite manufacturing
