Workshop Supervisor (Plant & Tool Fitter)
Job Overview
As a Workshop Supervisor, you will service and maintain plant and tools within our fleet alongside customer repairs. Additionally, you will be responsible for supervising and working alongside the Workshop Assistant, to ensure the workshop runs effectively and safely. You may perform these duties in-house and at customers’ sites, and as such, an element of driving is part of the role. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to work within a dynamic team in a thriving workshop environment while utilising their technical skills to deliver high-quality service.
Required Skills
1. Experience of working within the Tool & Plant Industry
2. Proven experience working as a senior plant mechanic/fitter role with a relevant mechanical qualification or time served.
3. Excellent communication, customer service, and team working skills.
4. Experience in leading and managing a team.
5. Well organised and efficient with the ability to work well under pressure, demonstrating sound planning and prioritization skills.
6. Self-motivated with high energy and the ability to lead and work in a team environment.
7. Good understanding of Health & Safety and environmental processes.
8. Flexible approach to work requirements.
9. Sound work ethic, taking pride in the work delivered ensuring excellence is demonstrated in everything you do.
