We are seeking multiple Port Operatives to fulfil diverse roles within our COAST team, providing a service to multiple business sectors including Cruise, Traffic, and Marina during peak season.
This will be on a fixed-term contract starting May/June through to September 25. Hours will average between 14 - 23 per week over the contract period, and holidays will be planned into your rota.
Shift allocation will be based on operational requirements. In this role, you'll be expected to fulfil the mentioned job roles along with any additional responsibilities to support the organisation.

Duties for this position will include:
* Baggage handlers - Lifting luggage, assisting passengers to/from their vehicles.
* Traffic Operatives - Acting as the first point of contact for our customers, offering information and assistance with their journey through the port.
* Marina - Acting as the first point of contact for our customers, offering information and assistance with their visit, along with assisting with the mooring of small leisure crafts.
Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience with one or more of the above skills would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.
* Ability to work a range of shifts including weekends, as required.
* Physically active and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to deliver empathetic customer service in challenging situations.
* Full UK manual driving license (desirable).

Salary: £12p/h
