This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join the Physiotherapy Team at the Royal Surrey as a rotational inpatient physiotherapy technical instructor.
The applicant must have previous experience in the role of Physiotherapy Assistant / Physiotherapy Technical Instructor within acute NHS services. This position would be ideal for someone who does not have HCPC registration.
Main duties of the job
Candidates require excellent written and spoken English as well as excellent team working skills, adaptability, and flexibility.
There is a requirement for flexible working as the service operates over 7 days and bank holidays on a rostered system.

Job responsibilities
To assist the qualified physiotherapy staff in delivering a high quality and effective Physiotherapy service to patients. To treat patients according to team/department standards/protocols individually or in groups.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent)
* Knowledge and experience equivalent to NVQ 3 in a relevant specialty i.e. Health care
Knowledge and Skills
* Relevant physiotherapy assistant experience
* Experience of working within the NHS
* Able to determine and progress a treatment plan/goals to D/C effectively
* Able to perform a basic assessment according to department guidelines
* Successful completion of PTA competencies
