Blue Arrow is working in a partnership with our Client based in Alfreton area and has an exciting opportunity for an individual to work within a busy and well-organized dispatch warehouse on a temp to perm basis as Team Leader.
Client offers competitive salary based on experience.
In this role you will be responsible for the management general warehouse operations. You will be accountable, in all respects, for the performance of your areas and must also work effectively as a management team to ensure overall business targets are met.
Successful candidates will work 37 hours per week Mon-Fri rotating between the hours of 7am until 6pm. (Occasional night shifts may be required)
* Solve problems and find ways to improve processes.
* Manage the performance of their areas to achieve targets.
* Communicate effectively to the team, other departments, senior management, Internal customers.
* Maintain and improve Quality and Management Systems.
* Lead by example and motivate through a positive attitude.
* Encourage teamwork and proactively build teams.
* Ensure the effective operation of the materials management system.
* Ensure Health & safety regulations and practices are adhered to.
* Maintain a high standard of housekeeping
* Train and Coach team members to improve their skills and performance.
As successful candidate you will be a pro-active, quality focused, professional individual with the determination to be part of a winning team.
Also, have A minimum of 1 years' experience in a supervisory/management role whilst adhering to Health & Safety requirements in an operational environment. Have previous tracked record of working to and achieving performance targets and standards with ability of using IT systems.
