Adult Care Commissioning in Staffordshire is on an exciting journey, rapidly advancing a portfolio of projects to shape our future vision. To tackle the challenges and seize the opportunities ahead, we are seeking to recruit two Commissioning Project Officers within our Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Autism, and Carers Strategic Commissioning Team in Health and Care.

We have 2x permanent posts and 1x 12 month fixed term.
Main Responsibilities
Supporting Commissioning Officers, Commissioning Managers and Senior Commissioning Managers across Care Commissioning to plan, deliver and monitor the implementation of commissioning projects to ensure programmes deliver better outcomes for Staffordshire residents. You will be expected to be flexible across all care services and the people the team commission for.
You will also:
* Support the design and management of projects to enable delivery against key outcomes.
* Research, analyse and interpret data and information from a wide range of internal and external sources to inform Care Commissioning activities.
* Support the development of reports and presentations for a variety of audiences
* Contribute to the design of, and organise and manage engagement and co-production events to support delivery of Care Commissioning priorities.
* Maintain data quality, including budget management processes and effective data intelligence to inform the commissioning process.
The Ideal Candidate
You will have:
* Qualifications: Educated to Diploma Level 3 or experience in a similar role that may be deemed to have brought the post holder to a comparable level of attainment.
* Experience and Knowledge: Ability to build effective working relationships and networks with partners, stakeholders, workforce and people with lived experience; experience of using advance functions within MS Excel to perform analysis with the potential to learn and adapt skills where necessary; a working knowledge of adult social care.
* Skills:
o Effective communication (verbal, written, listening) negotiation, influencing and interpersonal skills
o Able to work effectively occasionally with minimal supervision and direction using own initiative
o Organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
o Demonstrable IT skills with the ability to use IT systems that may previously be unfamiliar.
