Job Description:
A fantastic opportunity has become available to join the CIO Homes team as a Salesforce Tech Lead, to work on a set of projects on a brand new Salesforce implementation spanning multiple clouds (Sales, Service, Financial Services, Experience and Shield) to help re-platform legacy systems and place Salesforce at the heart of the business. The projects will also be a reimagining of the business processes and the customer journey providing an opportunity to use Salesforce to transform the current landscape. Beyond delivery, there will also be a need to build out the Salesforce function and establish best practice.
The projects will make a huge difference to both customer and colleague experience as well as moving the bank forward with a cloud-centric strategy. They will form part of a wider bank Salesforce transformation and this will provide further opportunities for candidates to work in different areas - support will also be given for further learning on the Salesforce platform in the form of certifications.
The difference you’ll make:
1. Designing, implementing, and testing new functionalities and features in Salesforce to meet business needs. Build of both custom/standard components on the Salesforce platform, using the most appropriate platform capability.
2. Making appropriate use of Flows, Apex, LWC and other technologies to ensure solutions are built to high standards, making appropriate use of enterprise design patterns when writing custom code.
3. Refining technical user stories as required, articulate clearly the technical solution required to meet a specific requirement.
4. Building (hands-on coding) of more complex areas of the requirements.
5. Supporting the Tech team with ensuring best practices are adhered to, providing mentorship and code review feedback as required.
6. Acting as the single point of contact for development team, triaging and prioritising issues as required.
What you’ll bring:
1. Extensive experience in Salesforce development with Salesforce cloud expertise.
2. Highly skilled in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components.
3. Understanding of Salesforce governor limits and performance optimization principles for efficient and scalable applications for a large active user base.
4. Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud & Salesforce Eco-System.
5. Expertise in large-scale integration using SOAP, REST, Streaming (including Lightning Events), and Metadata APIs, facilitating the seamless connection of Salesforce with other systems.
6. Salesforce Certification (Salesforce Platform Developer II).
It would also be nice for you to have:
1. Comfortable and effective in leading developers, ensuring project success and team cohesion.
2. Financial Services industry experience.
3. Experience implementing Experience Cloud solutions at enterprise organisations.
4. Experience in working in both agile and waterfall methodologies & TDD.
5. Experience of development outside the Salesforce platform, i.e. React/Angular/Java projects.
6. Experience of working with unlocked packages.
