Our organisation is all about people – the people who live in our homes, the people in the communities we serve, and the people we work with. We recruit for attitude and behaviour which are central to delivering great experiences for everyone!
We employ people who are passionate about making a difference, who can take responsibility and get things done. We have developed an agile, flexible culture which supports this.
We provide homes and services to over 16,000 people across Greater Manchester and have big plans to build more over the next five years. Maintaining our tenancies is key to this, and we are looking for someone to help us do this.
We need someone who is customer-focused, who will encourage customers with a wide range of needs to successfully manage their tenancy and live independently. This role involves providing early intervention, guidance, and assistance to customers who are most at risk of failing to sustain their tenancy, both before and during their tenancy.
Working as part of a team, we are looking for someone who can work with customers with complex needs and who is willing to tailor the service to meet their needs. It’s not just about support and advice; we need someone who can understand customer demand trends and sustainment trigger points, using customer data to inform the best approaches to deliver sustainment services. Ideally, you should have experience in a similar role within social housing.
We’re looking for candidates who are willing to work outside normal office hours (including occasional evenings & weekends). You must have the ability to drive and have access to a car. Irwell Valley Homes is a great place to work!
We work in an agile way, pay competitive salaries, offer a great range of benefits, and support colleagues to learn and grow, as we want to attract and retain the very best people to help us serve our customers.
If you have knowledge of relevant legislation, policy, and good practice, along with experience in a sustainment or community-based support service and applying for benefits and benefit legislation, we’d love you to join our team! Applicants will be sent a scenario-based assessment to complete and return if selected for an interview.
