The Role:
Location - Sunderland
Working pattern - Hybrid, 3 days minimum in the office per week
Reporting to the Senior Systems Analyst, the Senior Salesforce Administrator will participate in the ongoing development of our Salesforce environment. The successful candidate will have experience in improving processes and the successful adoption of the Salesforce platform, working closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify, develop, and deploy new business processes.
The role will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our Salesforce platform.
1. Serve as an administrator supporting approximately 800+ users across the Group.
2. Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance and other routine tasks, reports and dashboards creation and management, management of existing solutions, and defect resolution.
3. Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for planned Salesforce releases.
4. Maintain and document functional and technical processes and procedures.
5. Manage Salesforce data feeds and other integrations, provide support to the IT teams as needed.
6. Collaborate with business leaders, implementation team, and users during ongoing project phases.
7. Work with a team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, functional development, and change management activities.
8. Work independently with members of the user base to define and document business and functional requirements, including business process diagrams and user stories.
9. Work collaboratively with implementation team members to design and develop a solution that will fulfill the user stories.
10. Provide declarative administration and the implementation of user stories through configuration of the CRM platform.
11. Facilitate system demonstration meetings to showcase the implemented solution.
12. Collaborate with Testing and Business Unit teams to test and verify solutions through User Acceptance Testing.
13. Assist in End User Training and grow the Salesforce skill set across the organization.
14. Work with the existing Solutions Team and wider sections of IT to ensure collaboration and utilize existing SMEs in Product Owners and Systems Analysts when developing business capabilities into the Salesforce platform.
The Person:
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of training, education, and work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
2. A history of successfully driving projects to completion.
3. Experience in environment and release strategies with the Salesforce platform and its DevOps tooling and metadata structure.
4. Candidates should also hold a recognised qualification in Salesforce Administration:
* Salesforce Administrator (Required)
* Salesforce Business Analyst (Highly Desired)
* Salesforce Platform Developer 1 Builder (Desired)
* Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant (Highly Desired)
* Salesforce Field Service Lightning (Highly Desired)
1. Excellent project management and organization skills and a positive attitude, with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards.
2. Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
3. Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
4. Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization with an ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.
5. Proven ability to design and implement new requirements and processes gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and facilitate user adoption.
6. Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, Flows, and other configurations of advanced complexity.
7. Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices.
8. Strong data management abilities.
