Carbon60 are working with a major UK airport who are in need of a Finance Analyst to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. Job Specifics: Salary: Up to £56k benefits 10-20% OTE bonus. Office Location: Hounslow, West London. Working Flex: 3 days per week required in the office. Overview This is a key finance partnering role, supporting the airport in their annual development of pricing proposals for aeronautical charges and Other Regulated Charges (ORCs), carrying out impact analysis of the airport tariffs and help in explaining the different value-drivers to a variety of stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the customer business partners in the generation of pricing for aeronautical charges and ORCs and any subsequent variance analysis once actual costs and revenues are identified. Supporting in the preparation of other CAA/Airline and business partner reporting requirements, so that robust high-quality reporting is delivered on time. Supporting the delivery of financial targets by identifying and highlighting risks and opportunities to maximise value to the P&L. Being integral to delivering a meaningful budgeting, planning, and long-term planning process that has buy-in from stakeholders. Providing variance and trend analysis with insightful commentary vs budget/forecast. Consolidating and reporting financial performance and providing management insight on results and implications. Suggesting, supporting, and owning delivery of improvement initiatives for financial and non-financial processes. Ownership and development of financial dashboards tailored for the business. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. Working with stakeholders to support delivery of meaningful value-adding business cases. Essential Requirements: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), or studying towards. Strong Excel modelling skills, with experience of building models using advanced techniques. Some financial management experience in commerce and industry, or relevant consultancy. Experience dealing and influencing non-finance colleagues. Strong analytical mindset and appetite to solve problems. Experience of gathering, coordinating, and presenting complex and diverse financial and non-financial information in a rational, succinct, and clear way that drives decision-making and business change. Desirable Requirements: Experience of complex commercial and regulated environments. Experience of supporting high-impact continuous improvement initiatives.
