We are looking for experienced Healthcare Support Workers to join us. We are a caring, compassionate and creative team aiming to deliver outstanding care to all of our young people and their families. This is a challenging but hugely rewarding role with lots of progression available to the right person. We support the Nurse Associate training programme amongst other developmental opportunities. Main duties of the job As a Healthcare Support Worker your main responsibilities will be to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and implement young people's care plans under the supervision of a registered nurse. For example, this may include supporting a young person to develop coping strategies to help reduce self-harm. You will be required to communicate with patients, relatives and carers and assisting with clinical duties, including personal care and ensuring infection prevention and control standards are maintained. You will also undertake personal care duties for service users in hospital, report patient's conditions to qualified staff and document care delivery in patients notes. You will need to use your strong communication skills, attention to detail and motivation to constantly improve the way we work.
