About The Role
As a Helpdesk Operator for the Facilities Department, you should enjoy interacting with people, problem solving, and working at speed to reach timely resolutions for both our guests and team. In this role, you'll use our systems to receive logged maintenance issues across the resort and liaise with team leaders and internally to instruct them on the maintenance issues and locations. You'll follow processes and ensure all stakeholders are kept up-to-date with the status of their jobs, and advise the team of any urgent calls.
You'll be proactive in chasing and managing outstanding work to ensure completion within designated timeframes or escalation as required. Additionally, you will be the first point of contact for our contractors, so effective management of this process is essential.
About You
A Helpdesk Operator should have excellent communication skills, confidence with computers and technology, great organisational skills, and a keen attention to detail. The ability to prioritise your workload and that of the Facilities Department is crucial. Working with multiple stakeholders requires being a great team player.
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. The role involves working on a rota of 5 days out of 7, with shift times from 08:00 to 16:00 and 16:00 to 22:00.
