Clinical Lead Officer - Accreditation, Development & Projects
Monday to Friday - 18.5 hours per week
£15,428.40 per annum
The Role
The role of the Clinical Lead Officer ensures that clinical work is safe, of high professional standard, and in line with professional practice guidelines. The post holder will work with the Service Manager and Clinical Lead to ensure clinical compliance, quality assurance, and safeguarding within the service offer. Responsibilities include overseeing client and participant caseloads/files, involvement in assessment and client allocation for projects, and newly developed areas of the Options Wellbeing workflow.
This role will also support the recruitment, induction, and training of Volunteer Trainee Counsellors and Associates, and lead on supporting the Senior Management Team to gain organizational accreditation with the BACP. You will ensure the vision and values of the organization are clearly communicated and identify and implement developments that will benefit counselling clients and enhance the culture of the organization.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience within a similar organization.
2. Previous experience of case monitoring and achieving accreditation status with a professional body such as the BACP.
3. Experience in advising on safeguarding processes.
4. Proven leadership skills.
5. Membership of BACP or an appropriate professional body.
6. Hold or be working towards an accredited membership of the BACP or professional bodies.
7. Qualified and experienced in practice for 5 years+.
8. Hold a Clinical Supervisor qualification or be working towards it.
9. Completed clinical compliance training.
