As a Care and Support Worker you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for adults in the Bury area who require assistance with daily living tasks. We are dedicated to providing person-centred care that promotes independence and dignity for all our service users.
We currently have a high number of vacancies across residential, supported living and community home care services. All of which will train and develop the right skills to help you succeed and progress in your role. Each role will see you working as part of a multidisciplinary team, where you will support people with a variety of learning disabilities, mental health challenges, dementia or rehabilitation from falls or major and minor injuries. Adults can range from 18-100+ and each person is at the centre of a commissioned care plan to support a fulfilled and independent life.
Your responsibilities will include assisting clients with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, and providing companionship. You'll also have the opportunity daily to engage clients in activities that foster their interests and abilities, helping them stay connected to their families, friendships and the local community.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
* Experience in the care sector is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome those without experience who are willing to learn.
* A compassionate and empathetic approach to care, with a strong desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to listen and respond to client needs.
* Flexibility in working hours, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
* Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations and maintaining confidentiality.
* Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care are advantageous but not essential.
* A valid driving license and access to a vehicle would be beneficial, especially for community-based roles.

· Pay ranges from £12+ per hour
· Hours range from 16 to 40 hours a week.
· Shifts range from 10 hours to weekends only, to waking nights or morning or PMs only.
