We are recruiting for a Tutor for a Year 3 student needing 3 hours per week of tuition in Northampton, NN4 area. This student has ASD, so a Tutor with extensive experience in ASD is expected to teach this student English and Maths.
This tutor role involves:
* Working with primary or secondary children who may have SEN/ SEMH needs or are looked after (LAC).
* Providing educational sessions face to face with children at their homes or a public space (e.g. library, community centre).
* Planning resources around the child’s needs, developing their knowledge in core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science.
You will need to:
* Have QTS or be a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or have SEN/ SEMH experience.
* Be highly engaging and able to build effective working relationships with children.
* Manage and implement a range of behaviour strategies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
